They are in love because when melody gave ash the ‘welcome kiss’ misty’s face was in Horror or disgust. Anyway, they went through so many thing together and they are meant to be.

yes there is proof that misty has a crush on ash do to the way misty reacts on some of the first episodes and the last episode is a big clue because she says she finally knows how ash feels for her
yes they are....you see many episodes where Ash is holding Misty and atleast two episodes where they kiss......

∙ 10y agoNo, Ash and Misty have never kissed in any Pokémon episodes, Pokémon specials or Pokémon movies. Ash has never kissed a female character, the only female character he showed a romantic interest towards was Giselle. The only female characters that have kissed Ash were Melody in "The Power of One" movie and Latias disguised as Bianca in the Pokémon Heroes movie.
