What were war crimes in world war?

In World War 2 war crimes would be most recognized as the German P.O.W camps. In the camps the P.O.W's were treated like the Jews in the concentration camp. The Germans almost completely disregarded the rules of the Geneva convention. In the camps the prisoners were subjected to starvation, derived of treatment of battle injuries and disease. While Germany was not the only country to commit war crimes they were definitely the most recognizable for it.

Did Britain commit crimes in world war 2?

I have been reading What you all have to say on the subject of Briton's actions in WW2. I can find no documented evidence of war crimes committed by Britain, there on the other hand seems to be general knowledge as to other nations war crimes. Perhaps those nations whose people were most guilty, find the need to generalise and say that England must have committed acts of atrocity, because they must have! History, the true history shows the whole world a different story. English people fought on the side of right, to save those people that needed to be saved and because of the selfishness and greed of practically every other nation in one way or another they were left holding the financial strain on their own.
