I'm not sure what you mean by 'save', but buddha taught Buddhism to many people and how to meditate, become enlightened etc.
Buddhists do not worship the Buddha, what we follow is the ideals and teachings put forth by Siddartha Gautama, who became a Buddha. Buddha is a title not a name, anyone can become a Buddha.
To save beings from suffering.
no who does
the buddha symbol means that buddha will help you and will save everyone from aliens but only if everybody in the world has a buddha symbol tattooed on their forehead. if the symbol has a hat on then it is considered unlucky and that if you touch it you will have supernatural powers but will only use them for evil. DO NOT TOUCH THE HAT-WEARING BUDDHA!!!
The question is easy.... But the answer is difficult to understand ! If anyone understand this ...., he becomes a Arahant or Lord Buddha...... If you follow the way of Lord Buddha, you will see the answer for this question .... you have to go long travel .......................
Anyone that makes a study of the subject
Buddha is a historic figure like Alexander the Great, Henry VIII or Cheops. There is no reason why anyone of any religious or ethnic orientation would not believe in a historic figure
1. Buddha (not only Shakyamuni Buddha, but anyone who has been awakened) 2.Dharma (the state of bliss, also known as Nirvana) 3.Sangha (the community of those who are seeking and working actively to gain Dharma).
Only the Buddha was enlightened (awakened) without instruction. Many have been enlightened by following his teachings.
Yes. The Buddha laid out a path (The Noble 8 Fold Path) to follow to help get you there. If you practice hard enough, anyone could get there.
Like a man from the population of North India in 500 BCE. There were no images of the Buddha made during his lifetime, as he asked that he not be immortalized in that way. The descriptions of the Buddha in the texts of the day are all stock lists of qualities anyone in his day was supposed to have if they were to be Enlightened Ones and so are completely unreliable. We do not know any details of what the Buddha looked like.
Buddha didn't like caste, and his monastic communities admitted anyone regardless of caste. he basically just ignored the caste and the caste system
