My husband and I were there in April 2012 and paid $10 each to go see Crazy Horse Memorial and not much has been done (other than the face of crazy horse) which was completed in 1998. The Crazy Horse Memorial was started back in 1948. So, obviously, it is a very slow work in progress. It sure it won't be completed in my lifetime, if ever.
There is no historical evidence that Geronimo and Crazy Horse ever met. Geronimo was a prominent leader of the Apache during the late 19th century, while Crazy Horse was a key figure in the Lakota Sioux resistance against U.S. expansion. Their respective activities and territories were largely separate, with Crazy Horse operating primarily in the Great Plains and Geronimo in the Southwest. Both are iconic figures in Native American history, but their paths did not cross.
62 is the current age of the eldest horse to ever be, sadly the horse died at that age.

Though it remains debated whether or not he has ever been photographed, the person you are referring to is Crazy Horse. There are sketches of his likeness, however, so we know what he looked like. Crazy Horse was a Lakota leader who became famous as a warrior for continually fighting to preserve the traditional way of life for the Lakota people in the face of encroaching white culture.
You can name your horse what ever you want.
