Crescent, and the successor company, H&D Folsom, used over a hundred different names. However, THAT name is not one that shows up in my references. Royal Western was a high grade shotgun- and many companies used similar names to cash in on their name. Like Barker, instead of Parker.

Was Star Leader a shotgun sold by crescent I heard that crescent had a company named Leader Firearms but cannot find any more info I have a 12 gauge Star Leader shotgun and want the history on it?

The Star Leader shotgun was indeed manufactured by Crescent Firearms, a company that operated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Crescent Firearms produced a variety of firearms, including shotguns such as the Star Leader model. The company was known for producing affordable but functional firearms for the mass market during its time in operation.
