No Elvis Presley never authored any type of book whatsoever.
It has been reported that Elvis WANTED to oneday write a book entitled "Through My Eyes" but sadly Elvis passed away on August 16, 1977 without doing so.
Had Elvis of written a book I believe it would have (a) been a best seller and (b) given us insight from a perspective that was truly unique.
Lastly, fortunately Elvis' body of work (i.e. Concerts, albums, TV appearances, movies, etc.) confirms that Elvis Presley was the Greatest Entertainer who ever lived and was blessed with multiple talents including giving his time - money - and heart to those in need. May God bless his legacy and may Elvis Presley Fans Worldwide continue to help others both near and far.

The name of the book that the bodyguards of the late Elvis Presley wrote is called "Elvis: What Happened?". It was a book that talked about the womanizing, drug use, about the people who enabled his behavior.

Sony RCA owns the music book of Elvis Presley.
YES, Elvis enjoyed his last concert very much and his vocal performance, and range, was extraordinary. However, Elvis was greatly concerned about his; medical problems some of which resulted in his being bloated and overweight and the book (written by three of his ex-emplyees who had recently been fired) entitled "Elvis What Happened". Elvis was fearful that this book would oneday be read by his little girl, Lisa Marie Presley, and could adversely affect his relationship with his fans as well as hurt his name/reputation. For all of the very real medical, and even mood swings and depression, issues that Elvis was suffering from when he hit the stage he (literally) gave it his all and the fans loved him for it. GREAT QUESTION by the way.
