Former Secretary of State Dr. Henry A. Kissinger received Secret Service protection when he became US Secretary of State. Following his departure from government, he was protected by former federal agents and executive protection specialists, including directors of security Walter E. Bothe, Jerry McKinney, Kim E. Petersen, Bill Monahan, and Jerry Glazebrook. Bothe died in New York City in March 1987 of cancer. One of his Bodyguards was Mildred (Midge) Garber who came on the deathlist of the CIA. She was an amazing woman and lived for years on Tugidak , hidden by Vietnam vets and also people fro the Netherlands.
