Sort of, yes.

In 1924, Hitler served a prison term for his role in the so-called "Beer Hall Putsch", where his Nazi Party unsuccessfully tried to overthrow the Bavarian government, in an effort to copy what Mussolini had recently done in Italy. During his surprisingly short prison term, he dictated his memoirs, which were sort of a cross between an autobiography and a rambling political diatribe.

He wanted to name the book Four and a half years of struggle against lies, cowardice, and stupidity, but at his editor's suggestion, he settled on the title My Struggle (Mein Kampf, in German). The book wound up selling pretty well, especially after he came to power in Germany.

Of course, he lived for about 20 more years after the book was published, so the book doesn't include the events for that long period. He had initially intended to write multiple sequels to Mein Kampf, but never got around to it.
