Yep. And they did unite once he got into power. I think they united in 1935 and the liberal democracy of Austria was then run by political bullies in an Austrian fascist party similar to Hitler's. The unity of the two countries, Anschluss, was forbidden by the 1919 Treaty of Versailles which the victors in WWI had imposed on Germany. So, Anschluss, when it came under Hitler, was one more 'in-your-face' rejection of the terms of the old Treaty which so many Germans, not just Hitler, found objectionable.
I think Hitler want to test the reaction of the world for violating the Treaty of the Versailles and he wanted Austria because he was from Austria.
Hitler changed Germany by controlling it. Hiltler was an idol to Germany and Germany just sat there and respected him. I think that the People of Germany knew that somthing like HItler was coming and ther should have fought back. I know that he about 10 million people, but he couldn't have killed everyone in the world. Sombody should have fought back.
i think it was because Hitler was born in austria :D
He was in love with Germany. He believed in a German world.
...Germany. Also, "rule" is a fairly ambiguous term for Hitler's leadership. I think Dictate is the word you are looking for.
Hitler thought that Germany was their idea for killing the Jews but all along it was him who started.
Poland and i think Ukraine The invasion of Poland was the 'last straw' that caused Britain to declare war on Germany, but he had also annexed Austria (except for the singing Von Trapps!) and Czechoslovakia (Sudentenland) before that.
Hitler Came To Power I Think
Yes Hitler thoughted that germany need a stronger dictator government, A government who would lead germany into a new era
He thinks that Austria would resist unification and weaken a unified Germany. -Apex
I think some like Germany, Holland, Belgium, the Czech Republic or Austria would be lovely in early Autumn.
Yes, indeed. That's why Hitler attacked USSR first.
