"...And you, Pashhur, and all who live in your house will go into exile to Babylon. There you will die and be buried, you, and all your friends to whom you have prophesied lies." (Jer.20:6 NIV)

I know of no secular histories or biographies regarding Pashhur's life or fate beyond this biblical account... although it may exist somewhere.

With the beating The Bible has taken at the hands of men over the centuries, however, and the popular modern pastime of some to "re-write history"... which includes their questioning the validity of the writers of the books of the Bible and whether or not they or the people they wrote about, ever really existed -- many may find it difficult to believe Pashhur or Jeremiah were real people.

Going out on a limb, therefore, in deference to my faith in the surety of the Truth of the Word of God [John 17:17] -- I have to say, "Yes, this prophecy was fulfilled... since all the rest of the prophecy was fulfilled.":

"...I will hand all Judah over to the king of Babylon, who will carry them away to Babylon or put them to the sword. I will hand over to their enemies all the wealth of this city -- all its products, all its valuables and all the treasures of the kings of Judah. They will take it away as plunder and carry it off to Babylon..." (verse 5)

[Uh... that is... if Babylon ever existed :-p]

To be accurate, however, it wasn't Jeremiah's prophecy... he was just passing along what he'd heard ['...For this is what the LORD says:..." - verse 4].

God doesn't speak idly or foolishly, like men do. We may rest assured that this prophecy came to pass. The LORD, Jesus Christ, the WORD of God said it. And He doesn't lie.

What is the prophecy against Sidon in the book of Ezekiel?

Was the Egyptians ever dispersed and Egypt became desolate for forty years without humans or animals Ezekiel 29 ver 12?

The prophecy in Ezekiel 29:12 should be read in the context of the entire polemic in chapter 29. It says the Lord told Ezekiel to set his face against the Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and addresses insults against the Pharoah himself, as well as condemning Egypt to desolation (29:10,12). So the prophecy is that Egypt will be made waste and desolate in the time of the Pharaohs, not in so many thousands of years time. This prophecy is one that never came true. The prophecy in Ezekiel 29: 12 is one that is yet to come.In understanding any prophecy all of it must be read, not just a few verses, and it must not be taken out of context, or have read into it what is not there to suit a predetermined point of view.Eze 29:10 Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.Eze 29:11 No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.Eze 29:12 And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.Eze 29:13 Yet thus saith the Lord GOD; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered:The prophecy in Ezekiel did happen, but it was only partially-fulfilled; it is yet to be fulfilled in its entirety. The prophecy in Ezekiel 29:10-13 was part-fulfilled:-"when Babylon, under Nebuchadnezzar, reigned supreme in Egypt (see verses 19-20) from ca.568/67BC to 525BC until Cyrus gained Persian control., but only in part: it is not completely fulfilled yet. "(quoted from John MacArthur in "The MacArthur Study Bible").This prophecy is fulfilled only in part: it is not completely fulfilled yet. The ancient prophets described the 'Day of the Lord' and God's plan to bring Israel to repentance by its enemies which they foresaw happening thousands of years in the near-coming future but were only able to use language and idioms of their day.The critical part is verse 11, where it basically says nothing at all will be able to go from one side of Egypt to the other for 40 years. It doesn't say nothing will be able to enter the area: it says nothing will be able to cross it from one side to the other. This includes men, animals, birds, insects, cockroaches, and plants: everything single living thing there dies. Obviously this has not occurred yet so it is yet future. Think of nuclear bombs: then think of radioactivity killing all those who try to cross Egypt from one side to the other.

How was Isaiah's prophecy accomplished against Israel and Judah?

Your question may be confusing accomplished and fulfilled. Isaiah's prophecies were accomplished through visions which he merited to receive from God.Those of his prophecies which were directed against Israel and Judah were fulfilled when Israel was exiled by the Assyrians, and Judah was exiled by the Babylonians.See also:How many Isaiahs?Israelite prophetsA few fulfilled prophecies:The destruction of Babylon (Isaiah 13:19).The fact that billions of people have come under the influence of the Abrahamic belief, with the Greek, Norse and Roman gods now long-defunct. This is an (as yet) partial fulfillment of Isaiah 2:18.The prophecy that the Torah would never die out (Isaiah 59:21) has been fulfilled, against all odds. The prophecy that the recently-barren Israel would once again bloom (Isaiah 41:18-20), has been fulfilled.

The prophecy is................................ A shadow attacks the forest, none can stand against it. Then comes the Listener, who fights with air and speaks with silence. He gives his hearts blood to the mountain, and the shadow is crushed. That's not all of it though. Because later on, Renn tells Torak the rest of the prophecy which is to find the "Nanuak", the brightest soul.

How did Birnam Wood actually advance against Macbeth?

In the play "Macbeth" by William Shakespeare, the prophecy that Macbeth receives from the witches states that he will not be defeated until Birnam Wood moves to Dunsinane Hill. This prophecy is fulfilled when Malcolm's army disguises themselves with branches from Birnam Wood, giving the illusion that the forest is moving towards Macbeth's castle at Dunsinane.

What is the event that Peter James and John witnessed?

The answer to your question is written in Mark 13 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, 4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
