Yes Jesus died for all persons past and present. No one no matter how good....Noah, Moses or Mother Teressa is or was good enough to be in GOD's perfect and holy presence. After all Moses was the only man that was ever even allowed to see GOD, well a portion of him actually his back side only be cause Moses was unholy and not perfect if he saw GOD's glory entirely it would have killed him. The only way sin could ever be atoned for and cleaned in the eyes of GOD was through a sacrafice.....Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice and was a perfectly clean and pure sacrifice unlike the lambs and animals used previously. He was the perfect "Lamb"....one sacrafice for ALL time. Past present and future. The prophets of The Bible and all person's that were devout to God and had a relationship with him were sent to a place of paradise the Bible tells us. Because of GODs holyness they still could not be in his presence...Those that did not love GOD were and are still sent to Sheol hates an area void of GODs presence. The people that were in the paradise area are no longer there. When Jesus died...the veil of the holy of holies was torn....this is one evidence to this fact....his death and resurrecction allowed us to have access to GOD (all peoples past and present and future) All peoples one day will be judged by GOD and it is our choice to either go before GOD on our own with our own filthy "GOOD" works or by the grace of Jesus and what he did for us. The bible tells us that God will only accept those who are presented before him through his son Jesus, not through our own actions no matter how good we think they are the bible tells us that even our good works are seen as filthy rags.....our only help of salvation was and is through the belief and acceptance of that one time sacrafice and our knowing that we are all sinners and cannot "DO" our way to heaven it is only through GODS love and grace.

Explain How the Old Testament and the New Testament are different?

The biggest difference is in the Old Testament any christian was a christian because they new Jesus was coming and was going to die on the cross, in the New Testament they got to be with Jesus, they saw Him and most beleived. In the new testament till now we believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and that through Him we can go to heaven. So the main thing is people believed that Jesus died for their sins and for the Old Testament they believed He was coming.

What was the Christian Testament and you do not know where it can be found in the Bible?

First that question is not properly written to give you the perfect answer. The "Christian testament"? The Bible is made out of the "Old Testament" and the "New Testament" which is the Bible. The Bible is broken up by different books that create the Old and the New. In the Old Testament, that is where Jesus has not yet come to earth and die for our sins. Therefore, in the Old Testament there was worse judgment on the world. Then, the New Testament is when Jesus finally came to earth to die for our sins so that we may have eternal life. Basically, the Bible is in two halves. The Old Testament starts with Genesis where God talks about how he created the world. Then the New Testament starts in the Book of Matthew then so on. If you are looking to study about Jesus Christ, start with the New Testament.

Why do Christians insist you will be damned if you say Jesus is not God but only his son?

In the Old Testament God identified Himself by the name "I am." In the New Testament, Jesus identified Himself by this same name and said "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins." John 8:24. In this verse, it is obvious that Jesus was not telling the people that He was speaking to, that if they did not believe that Jesus EXISTS, they would die in their sins. Obviously they could see that Jesus existed. They were looking right at Him. But in the Greek, the words for "I am" are "ego eimi," and the word "he" does not appear in the verse in the Greek. So Jesus was using the same phrase to identify Himself as the God of the Old Testament, that God had used in the Old Testament in Exodus 3:14, which says "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you." So Jesus is saying in the New Testament that if we do not believe He is GOD, we will die in our sins.

How would the ministry of John the Baptist differ from the ministry of Jesus?

John the Baptist's ministry was to prepare the way of the Lord and to introduce Jesus to the world as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. John's ministry was prophesied in the Old Testament (Malachi 3:1; 4:5-6) and he fulfilled it by establishing the baptism of repentance and the introducing Jesus to the world. Jesus' ministry mainly was to be the Lamb of God that John the Baptist prophesied about Jesus. To accomplish this ministry Jesus died for the sins of the world as prophesied by Old Testament prophets (Eg: Isaiah 53). To fulfill His ministry to die for the mankind, Jesus went through all the stages of human development (born, lived among people, etc) to be an ideal substitute for a human.

There is limited information in the Bible about how the Major Prophets of the Old Testament died. Isaiah was said to have been sawn in half during the reign of King Manasseh. Jeremiah's fate is not explicitly recorded, but tradition holds that he was stoned to death by his own people in Egypt. Ezekiel's death is not mentioned in the Bible.
