Some Jews will read the Christian Bible out of curiosity or comparative religious scholarship. However, neither parts of the Christian Bible (Old and New Testaments) are considered valid religious texts by Jews.

The Jewish Bible is called the Tanach (an acronym made up of the names of the three sections it's made up of - Torah [Teachings], Nevi'im [Prophets], K'tuvim [Writings].

The Christian OT is based on the Tanach, however, it was greatly altered to support the teachings of Christianity.

Judaism doesn't believe in either.

The Jewish Bible is called the Tanach. The word Tanach is an acronym made from the names of its three sections: Torah (Teachings), Nevi'im (Prophets), K'tuvim ( Writings).

The Christian Old Testament was based on the Tanach but was altered to support the teachings of Christianity. The Christian New Testament thoroughly teaches against what we are taught in the Tanach.

The Jewish Bible is called the Tanakh and is in Hebrew. We (Jews) are commanded to learn it (Deuteronomy ch.6).

The word Tanakh is an acronym made up of the names of its three sections: Torah (Teachings), Nevi'im (Prophets), K'tuvim (Writings).

The Christian Old Testament was based on the Tanakh; however, it is in translation and was altered to support the teachings of Christianity.

Jews read the books that Christians typically consider to be the Old Testament. (There are some slight differences between the Jewish Bible and the Christian Old Testament, but they are over 98% the same.) Jews do not consider the New Testament to be holy.

Jews do not worship the Jewish Bible, but they worship God. They use The Bible in that worship, but the book itself is not worshiped.

The Jewish Bible, called the Tanach (an acronym for Torah, Nevi'im -- Prophets, and Ketuvim -- writings), contains the same books as what Christians call the Old Testament. The traditional order is different: Christian scholars sorted the books into rough chronological order by the purported data of composition, while Jews sort the books by the category they fit, gathering all the prophets together and separating them from the books that basically tell stories. Some Jews do indeed read the Christian New Testament out of curiosity or scholarship, but it is not given any authority.

The charge that the Christian Old Testament has been altered to suit Christian purposes is problematic. Christian and Jewish scholars generally agree that the Hebrew text is authoritative -- that has not been altered by the Christians. The problem lies in translation. Jews generally refer to the Hebrew text when there is any doubt, while many Christian denominations have declared that one or another translation has some kind of divine approval and is in some absolute sense correct. This is, from a Jewish perspective, just plain weird. Also, Jews frequently notice that Christian translations frequently attempt to avoid any ambiguity, even where the original Hebrew is delightfully ambiguous. In many cases, this leads to translations that impose christological and even contemporary political interpretations that Jews see as entirely unjustified.

Believe in god but not the Bible?

Is it possible? According to the Bible ~ it is possible to believe in God and not the Bible. The Bible was written by human men, who some Christians believe was written by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. However, in the case of the Jewish Faith. Although many of the portions of the Old Testament of the Holy Bible is also believed within the Jewish Faith. The New Testament is not part of the Jewish Faith. Some Jews do believe that Jesus Christ was a Prophet, but will never, acknowledge Him as the true Son of God. So, how do Jews get into Heaven if they don't believe in the Holy Bible or convert to Christianity? Simple. Long before Jesus Christ ever came to this world ~ the Jewish Nation was and will always be "God's Chosen People." The Bible is basically a guide book to doing the right things in life. Also, no where in the Bible does it say, "You must believe in the Bible, and every line it states." The belief in God is what gets you into Heaven, and that's also stated in various places of both the Old Testament and New Testament of the Bible.

What is the main Christian sacred text and how is this different from what is considered the Hebrew Bible?

The Christian Holy Book is the Bible. The primary difference between the Christian Bible and the Jewish Bible is the addition of the New Testament, which fundamentally alters the relationship between God and his Creation. Additionally, the Old Testament is a rearranged version of the Jewish Bible and resorts to translations of texts and material additions not present in the Jewish Bible.
