Not literaly. Our prophet Muhammad had the protection of his Uncle, who was the leader of the strongest tribe at the time. Muhammad would preach to the people at the square and would mostly get people warning him not to do so. Not Bully him, people just thought he's crazy.The Uncle's son didn't like Muhammad, but refrained from harming Muhammad becausehe enjoyed the protection of his Uncle. When his Uncle died, his son took over and Muhammad fled.
Muhammad fled to Madina where he got a lot of support and followers. His followers were always close to him andit wouldn't have been easy for anyone to bully him.
Most stories about how the prophet was thrown with stuff and insulted, was mostly meant to Exaggerate the "humility"-side of the prophet.
