One interesting distinction that Geraldine Edwards held was that she was the lead county psychic for the city of San Diego in the 1990's for a three year time period. She also had a five minute segment on a local news station in San Diego in the early nineties called "The Psychic's Corner" where she warned consumers of metaphysical scams and advised interested individuals how to use metaphysical services wisely if they were interested in such things. The show was intended as a community service. On several occasions, she was interviewed in the vernacular of the county psychic for San Diego County.
