yes, but their Pizza was not what we would consider pizza today. They did not have the tomato, so no good pizza sauce. They had something that could loosely be called pizza which was a flat bread with various ingredients rolled up inside.

Yes, they porbably did, if they had pickles. But they wouldn't have been fancy pickles like dill pickles or other stuff.
