Reagan grew up and and went to college in Illinois. He was born in Tampico and went to middle and high school in Dixon. The family also lived in south Chicago, Galesburg and Monmouth for awhile.
Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant, Ronald Reagan, and Barack Obama all lived in Illinois. Reagan was born there and went to school there but left as soon as he finished college. The others moved into the state as adults. Grant did not live very long.
He lived in the White House for 8 years. While living in California before and after his Presidency, it would have been about 3,000 miles. Illinois, where he lived from birth through college and a few years after, would have been about 1,200 miles from Washington.

Unfortunately not. Mr. Reagan was one of those good man that never betrayed his wives, I said wives because he was married a few times. My respect for this man is pure because of what he accomplish and done for us here in United State.
The Reagans lived in the BelAir section of LA, near Hollywood California before they moved to Washington. He also had a ranch in Simi Valley in the hills outside of Los Angeles.
