Not really. But she was pleased.
J.K.Rowling is working on the Harry Potter Encyclopaedia however do not expect it to be released for a long time as it will take a long time to write.
not really no
I wouldn't expect it for a while. JK Rowling still hasn't even confirmed that she's writing this. I do know that she said something along the lines that if she writes it, she's not going to rush it because there's no point in doing it unless its amazing. So, that in mind, I wouldn't expect the HP encyclopedia for a while.
J. K. Rowling has and still is inspiring people in many ways. Me, being one of those people, know how. She has inspired meby thinking up these Harry Potter things and sharing them with the world through books and movies. I have started to write a book because of her. (THANKS!) Expect A. S. Carter's works to hit shelves soon! :D
Harry Potter was was rejected by several publishers because they thought it was far too long for a children's book. Even after Bloomsbury accepted the book they didn't think it would be a huge success and told J.K Rowling not to expect much.
When J K Rowling sold her first volume to Bloomsbury she was still looking for a new teaching post. It is very unusual for a children's author to be able to live from here writing, and J K Rowling did not expect this for herself.
J.K. Rowling completed the book and hired a literacy agent, who sent it to publishers in the UK. All of them except Bloomsbury Publishing refused to publish the book. Many of them considered it too long for a children's book. Even Bloomsbury didn't expect the book to be very popular.Scholastic then won the rights to released in the book in the US and released it under the title Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone on the 1st September 1998
