William Shakespeare School.
Shakespeare used as his source material Life of Caesarand Life of Brutus, both by Plutarch (a 1st century AD Roman historian).
Shakespeare left no record of his personal preferences.
Shakespeare did not continue his studies after grammar school
We have no specific knowledge of Shakespeare's early life, so we can only guess that it was a typical childhood. He did go to school, obviously, and is thought to have attended the only available local grammar school. School was much harder back then: the days were long and the students had to work hard or be beaten by their teachers.
The Life of Shakespeare was created in 1914.

There's no saying, since he never kept any dairies, but his academic upbringing was not a prime choice. His parents sent him to a petty school. A petty school is one run by local housewives, often referred to as Dame Schools. Rather than learning mathematics, or history, Shakespeare was taught more of the practical things of life, such as behavior and the principles of the Christian religion. What he enjoyed most, over school, was the outdoors, and nature; a large portion of his spare time was spent out in fields. Hope this helps
Everybody should study Shakespeare. He is the greatest writer in the English language and his words, phrases, quotations, characters and stories are known and constantly alluded to by all other writers. However, elementary school students, although they can and do enjoy Shakespeare's language, can have trouble wrapping their heads around the plots of some of the plays. It is easier for high school students to appreciate some of the subtleties in the plays.
