Kinda. Like the other conflicts of the Cold War, it was "proxy war" between a Soviet-backed communist country and an American-backed capitalistcountry.Unlike the Americans, the Soviets didn't send troops to Korea, but they did provide North Korea with tanks andmilitary equipment. Also, some Soviet fighters pilotsparticipated in the year.
