The bottom plug drains all oil. The plug that is part way up the side of the transmission is the fill level plug. With the engine OFF! Pull the plug, put your finger in the hole and see if there is any oil below the level of the plug hole. Oil SHOULD come to the bottom of the hole. If you can't feel any oil with your finger add more.
