The Constituent Assembly had two hundred and seven representatives, including fifteen women. Only 28 members of the Muslim League finally joined the Indian Assembly. Later, 93 members were nominated from the princely states. The Congress thus secured a majority of 82%. The Interim Government of India was formed on 2 September 1946 from the newly-elected Constituent Assembly. On August 15, 1947, India became an independent nation, and the Constituent Assembly became India's Parliament.

All India Muslim League's General session was held from 22 to 24 March, 1940 in Iqbal Park in Lahore. On the second day of session i.e. 23rd March, Pakistan resolution was passed which put forth the demand of a separate state for Muslims of Sub-continent comprising of Muslim majority provinces and areas.

The flag was designed by Amiruddin Kidwai, and is based on the All-India Muslim League flag. The national flag of Pakistan was adopted in its present form during a meeting of the Constituent Assembly on August 11, 1947, just three days before the country's independence.The constituent assembly of Pakistan met on the 11th of August,1947 and approved it when Mr. Liaquat Ali Khan presented the flag to the constituent assembly.I hope it will be helpful..:)
