cant say i hav acctually herd that term. but it will be reffering to eather, excessive clearance in push rods it workes the rockers,/commodore/chev or excessive clearance in conrods joines the pistons to the crank. what type of car is it?

This set up will not work due to the lack of the electrical ignitor to handle the engines RPM's
That depends on the cam. If it's hydraulic there would be preload, not clearance. If it's solid, you'd need the manufacturer's cam card to set the correct backlash.
