Quite a few did. The only one I am familiar with is the Dwarf Sicilian Elephant. This elephant was native to the island of Sicily off the coast of Italy. They migrated there after the Mediterranean Sea lowered. When the sea rose again, they were trapped. These elephants grew small because they had no enemies and food was plentiful. They were about the size of an Asian elephant baby at maturity. There reasons for extinction are unknown. These elephants are very prehistoric and were after the dinosaurs but before mankind developed.
go to google or yahoo and type in elephant.
Any creature can go extinct, but this mammal is currently abundant.
Any species will become extinct in time, including humans.
Humans are the answer! humans caused more animals to go extinct than any other animal.
They have the same gametes as any other animal. Egg and sperm. Gametes are reproductive cells. All animals need this to survive and not go extinct.
Why did the dinosaurs go extinct? Humans will never go extinct!
Yes. Change the living conditions enough, and any species can die out.
No, it's on the path of extinction.
Animals go extinct for many reasons, but the main one being loss of habitat.
Don't really understand your question, but I will try. Any animal that still has surviving members is not extinct. An easier answer for you would be to go to your library, and check out books on extinct animals.
Hi Any animal can became extinct if over hunted (by a person or animal) or die from diseases. The deer is no exception.
Missouri is a state - it is not a living thing so it cannot go extinct.
