As a completely blind person, I think there is nothing more helpful. I am able to function as anyone else can in school, which would be impossible without Braille. Braille also allows me to succeed in music, as there is a way to write music in Braille. I'll never stop using it, and I'm extremely thankful for it.
Yes, usually with Braille. And like anyone else, the blind read for information, enjoyment.
Typing uses a standardized keyboard that anyone can use once they learn where all of the characters are. Braille would help anyone who cannot see the keys learn how to type. It would also be useful for the same people to find the keys if they become lost or confused with what they are typing.
No one contributed more to the design of skyscrapers than Chicago's Louis Sullivan.
A language that is no longer anyone's mother tongue.
Braille impacted eveyone who was affected by blindness. It allowed people who would not see to be able to have a form of communication, it allowed them to go around to different places with braille on elevators etc., and it inspired many more inventions for the blind. Did you know they now have computers that push braille out? braille was actually first invented as a form of night reading, so anyone who has the patience can now read in the dark if they'd like. (lols) sorry not the best explanation but i reckon it's better than none at all :D
