Before some things, but not before all things. The Solar System (including the Earth) has an age of about 4.6 billion years ago; some other stars are quite a bit older. The Universe formed about 13.8 billion years ago; many "other things" have this age, or almost this age. For example, many galaxies are almost as old as the Universe.
The Earth - with some stuff around (or above) it.
Shortly before Copernicus died he figured that the Earth was notthecenter of things, but the Sun was. This theory is still used today. He worked out this this theory from detailed observations of the orbit of Mars.
It is the Universe that expanded, not specifically the Earth. Earth was formed much later than the Big Bang. The Universe continues expanding, though. It is the Universe that expanded, not specifically the Earth. Earth was formed much later than the Big Bang. We were able to figure out how other things in the universe formed, so that helped us figure out how th earth was made.
Earth was the center of the universe
The same as it looks now.
If the Universe was shrinking the galaxies would appear to be moving towards the Earth, and look more blue than they should. This is the opposite to the universe expanding where galaxies would appear to be moving away from the Earth, which we know due to "red shift". Andromeda would be the exception since it's directly moving towards the Milky Way.
The Catholic church taught that the earth was the center of the universe and all things moved around the earth. Man was the greatest creature of the universe.
that the earth was the center of the universe and that the earth wAS FLAT
Everything in the universe. things on the other side of the universe are affected by earth's gravity, but so slight that it isn't recognizable.
... because they thought they were the most important in the universe and the only things in the universe so they thought they were in they centre.
There ias no atmosphere to scatter the sunlight like on earth.
God created the earth and the universe!
The Christian God who created the Earth and Universe (meaning all things).
It helps you learn more about the universe because you can see most of the things surround the earth.

The universe then the sun then the earth:)
