Not the famous Hurricane Katrina of 2005, which devastated New Orleans, no. That storm developed near the Bahamas, crossed Florida, and finally stuck the U.S. Gulf coast.
However, hurricane names that are not retired come up for re-use every six years. As of 2005, no future storm will ever be named Katrina, but in 1981 a differed hurricane also named Katrina made landfall in Cuba. The storm was a category 1 hurricane that killed two people. Other than some crops destroyed by flooding damage was minimal.
Hurricane Ike has caused considerable damage to the Turks and Caicos in the Caribbean. As many as 95 percent of the buildings on Grand Turk have been severely damaged, flattened, demolished; houses have collapsed and the hospital has sustained major damage.
Hurricane Pam was not an actual hurricane, but a computer model of a hypothetical hurricane striking the New Orleans area. New Orleans has long been an area of concern in regard to hurricanes. Portions of the city are below sea level, kept try only by levees and a system of pumps. Many realized that a major hurricane to breach the levees, causing catastrophic flooding. The Hurricane Pam model was meant to simulate what would happen in that event. This scenario came to pass when Hurricane Katrina struck in 2005.
Hurricane Iota was the last hurricane to pass through Central America in November 2020, impacting countries like Nicaragua and Honduras. It was a powerful Category 4 storm that caused significant damage and flooding in the region.
In terms of official landfall, Hurricane Katrina impacted Louisiana and then Mississippi. They eye never actually passed over New Orleans. When Katrina was impacting New Orleans it was also impacting parts of Mississippi at the same time.
Only Mexico. It passes north of Cuba and south of Florida.
The hurricane hit the southeast United States, but caused the most damage to New Orleans, since the city is below sea level.Hurricane Katrina made three landfalls in the US. The first was in southeast Florida as a Category One. The second was near the mouth of the Mississippi River (Category 3 or 4), and the last around Waveland, Mississippi as a Strong Category 3.Some levees in New Orleans (proper) didn't falter until the storm was well inland. Mississippi suffered as much catastrophic damage from Katrina as eastern New Orleans, with houses washed away for hundreds of yards from the shore. Mississippi was in the Northeast quadrant of the storm, which is the most dangerous quadrant for winds and tornadoes. In Waveland, MS there were Category 3 winds and a high storm surge inundating areas south of Highway 90 and Interstate 10 for about 5 or 6 hours, but the water receded rather quickly because the area is above sea level. To clarify:New Orleans' Ninth Ward received the most damage, which was due to flooding caused by the levee breaking. But the Mississippi gulf coast received the most storm (wind) damage. The damage from the initial hit in southern Florida was comparatively minor.

Hurricane Irene will pass over Virginia and Delaware on Sunday. See The Related Link for The Projected Path.
The first hurricane could have disrupted the warm ocean water needed for the second hurricane to strengthen. Additionally, wind shear from the first hurricane might have inhibited the development of the second one. The presence of dry air and cooler sea surface temperatures left in the wake of the first hurricane could also weaken the second one.
