John F. Kennedy
He never finished his memoirs, but I do not think he had any serious regrets about his time in office.
John F. Kennedy was elected to the term that began on the 20th of January 1961 and ended on the 20th of January 1965, but he was assassinated on the 22nd of November 1963.

President John F. Kennedy was shot and killed by Lee Harvey Oswald in Dallas, Texas, on Nov. 23, 1963 during his first term in office.
John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated during his term as President of the United States by Lee Harvey Oswald. It was during a motorcade in Dallas, TX that JFK was killed and Governor John Connally and spectator James Tague were wounded. Thus, JFK was not given the opportunity to do much of anything after his term in office as he was killed prior to that term coming to an end.
He was elected November, 1960. He did not finish his first term of office. Died in office in Nov. of 1963, in Dallas, Texas.
