Almost all people working on the floors below the impact were evacuated in time. Of the other victims, 6,000 were injured but survived. The two wars of retaliation that George Bush jr. started, cost the lives of over 50,000 US soldiers and other US personnel.

∙ 7y agoNo. When the towers collapsed a majority of the people died. Some died in the fires started with the jet fuel, others as the buildings collapsed , and some jumped. People ran for their lives as the dust and debris cloud moved from the towers to the streets around the towers.
