Ninja are usually regarded as the anti-samurai. The samurai were extremely overt and colorful personalities. Their whole being depended on public display - death-defying and often death-seeking bravado. The ninja were the opposite: in order to be a spy, you have to survive and be secretive. Secretiveness was something the samurai pretended to despise, but in fact the ninja were vital to military activity. And quite often the samurai during the day doubled as ninja during the night.
So could ninja be samurai at the same time?
You could, theoretically. There would have been some sort of distinction, because samurai were often extremely high class, but ninja not necessarily so. But there was an overlap in the middle sooo in short yes they could
ex-samurai or descendants of the samurai and shared the same values and outlooks.
The same word is used.
Samurai is a class like caste and it's hereditary. Therefore, the sons of farmers were destined to be farmers and samurai's son were samurai. However, there were rare cases for some to be in samurai class. One is to show great talents in swordsmanship and others include becoming great scholars. It's very rare, though. Inside the samurai class, there was also hierarchy, and it does not always mean upgrading the status if one becomes samurai from the other classes as many samurais were poor. It was more like hereditary occupations. It was hereditary, but sometimes someone who was in favour with the higher authority could become a Samurai such as the English sailor Williams Adams who sailed to Japan but later became a Samurai actually being a samurai took many talents including heredity but that doesn't mean your destined to become a farmer. you see Japanese society was broken down in classes. durning the time off the samurai the shogun was like the "lord" or king. after him was the damiyo or someone who does the kings work(sometimes!) and the samurai. if you worked up in ranks you could have a chance to be a samurai. to be a samurai took many years of dedication and training. if caught in a dirty deed a samurai would commit ritual suicide to peserve his personal honor. At mid 1500 the separation law came. Before it anyone who could afford training could become a samurai, after that you had to be the son of a samurai.
Nothing, essentially. Both are used interchangeably to refer to the exact same thing.
The same thing as Google and Blackle, but everything is yellow and black. Also to save energy.
it is completely circumstantial you can't say that a ninja would kill a samurai every time and vice versa ninja and samurai fought all the time but the ninja wouldn't always win or lose same goes for the samurai Or be jesus and kill them both with the holy hand gerande.

Yes you can put a 1.3 litre front wheel drive swift motor in a samurai. The samurai and swift both share the same block, the major difference is that the swift uses a twin cam head while the samurai doesn't.
Perhaps you are thinking of the straight shorter blade that ninjas used against the samurai katana? That is the ninjaken, or ninja sword, obviously a technical term in japenese :P. The ninja would have the same length sheaths as the traditional katana, that way with the shorter blade they could draw it fractionally faster, and thusly surprise and kill the unsuspecting samurai.
Just read same with it. samurai
In French, "ninja" is translated as "ninja." It is the same word in both English and French.
Super Samurai but they have the same rangers from samurai just with more power.
Yo that is not true but... a balloon is the same as a zombie ninja
