People go to the World War II memorial to remember US military who fought in that war. Some go to because it is part of our history.
It would logically seem that there are more reasons not to go to war than to go to war. The loss of life, the destruction of nations, cities, homes and people should be good reasons. The money and energy used to destroy rather than to build should make it something we would never want, and yet there are always "war and rumors of war".
Nearly any man drafted for the military does not want to go. If he did want to go into the military, he would have enlisted (volunteered) to begin with.
No people do not get drafted, the people who want to go fight in the war get to do so because they might have a reason to fight
When you ask a question about a war, you need to put the NAME of the war in your question. People cannot just guess which war you are asking about.
Few people actually wanted to go to war. Most however understood that Hitler's agression had to be stopped somewhere.
Did cleopatra go to war with a group of people or did she go to war by herself?
They didn't want to sign the oath because they are affraid that they would have to go to war aggainst all their people.
Yes: To defend ones country, to defend ones empire. People should make their voices heard, and people don't listen unless there's a gun pointed at their heads. No: To go to war only ignites a new problem. People going to war shouldn't BE necessary, because people often go to war because they will not give up some things for peace. World leaders often care more about their opinions then the men and women they send out to battle, because if they cared about the people more, they wouldn't go to war.
