Initially with disinterest and unfriendliness. SCrooge partly blamed the birth of Fred for the death of his sister Fan. In addition Scrooge had cut off Fred financially because he didnt marry money but for love. However, as he is taken through the scenes of his past, present and future life he comes to realise that Fred is his only caring relative and that he (Scrooge) needs to break down his own barriers and accept and welcome Fred and his wife into his life

Sadly no. Bob although loyal and hardworking was initially treated by Scrooge horribly. he paid him little, made sure he worked him long hours and even prevented the poor clerk from putting coal on his fire when he was freezing

No, Scrooge did not treat his clerk, Bob Cratchit, well. He underpaid him and did not provide a comfortable working environment. Scrooge was known for being harsh and miserly towards his employees.

He did not treat Bob very well. He paid him poorly, kept the offices very cold and was very unhappy that he had to give him a day off with pay.
