∙ 15y agoIf you remove the drawer and put it outside to AIR out this will reduce the strong odor but will not remove it completely. Only time will get the smell out besides other chemicals that could damage the wood like bleach.

Car fresheners are an example of sublimation because the freshener gives off a smell, which is really a gas, without becoming a liquid. (Sublimation is a solid changing directly to a gas with out going through the liquid phase)
