Japanese records were destroyed during WWII. However, it's estimated that Mitsubishi built nearly 12,000 A6M Zero fighters; Kawasaki built nearly 4,000 Type 61 and Type 100's (Tony and Hien fighters).

The largest subs in WWII were the Japanese I-400 Class subs; they could launch 3 airplanes.
During the Battle of Midway. the Japanese had 4 carriers that they used to attack islands in the pacific. when they attacked Midway, the US carriers were able to launch planes and sink their 4 carriers. because they had lost their carriers, the Japanese no longer had the ability to attack.
They sent their planes from aircraft carriers and bombed the US military's planes and ships at Pearl Harbor.
To help you out, there were over 300 Japanese planes.
