The Lenni Lenape Indians hunted game and fished by bow and arrow. They used brush nets and dried bird claws to catch small animals and fish. They also made fishhooks by small dried animal bone.
The Lenni Lenape people were Native Americans who lived once in regions of Delaware, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. They were called Delaware Indians because they inhabited what is called the Delaware River Basin. Today, a large group of these Native Americans live in Oklahoma.
