No U.S. coins were ever made from lead.
There were no British coins issued with a likeness of Edward VIII on them. The Royal Mint had set about designing them and a few pattern coins were produced. All of these coins are supposedly accounted for. Some coins were produced and issued for some of the colonies including British East Africa and British West Africa, Fiji and New Guinea, but these coins did not feature his likeness, only his name.
Presumably, you refer to the Australian 50 cent coin. The round Australian 50 cent coin was only ever minted for 1966. All subsequent Australian 50 cent coins are dodecagonal or 12 sided.
Yes
US Coins are circulated in the following denominations; 1¢, 5¢, 10¢, 25¢, 50¢, $1. You rarely, if ever, see 50¢ and $1 coins in change.
Silver has been used in coinage ever since coinage was made. The earliest coins were made out of an alloy of silver and gold. Silver, along with gold, have been used for coins ever since coinage was made in 700 BC or so.
U.S. one dollar gold coins were issued from 1849-1889. They are the lowest denomination and the smallest gold coins ever made by the United States.
Nobody mints 100% copper pennies. These days, copper is far too expensive to be minting low denomination coins such as a Penny, and many countries that still produce their lowest single unit of currency coins, do so from steel. Even in the old days copper was alloyed with other metals to produce "copper" coins. The closest the Royal Mint ever came to producing a 100% copper coin was in 1944 and 1945 where the copper content got up to 97%. Usually it was 95% copper.
you just search a lot and keep it for ever.
