Germany mobilized the most troops. yeah Germany ROCKS man! best in the world
The first country to pull out of World War I was Russia. In 1917, the Russian Revolution led to the overthrow of the Russian monarchy and the establishment of a communist government. The new government, under the leadership of Vladimir Lenin, signed the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk in March 1918, effectively withdrawing Russia from the war.
Yes after Russia declared war on Austro-Hungary. (Germany's ally)
In World War 1 Germany and Russia were on different sides. Germany fought against Russia and Russia fought against Germany...Basically in the First World War there were two sides. The Central Powers and the Allies. The Allies consisted of Britain, France, Italy and Russia but Russia leaves the war half way through. Other small countries also aided the Allies like Japan and China even some African countries. The Central Powers consisted of Germany, Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman Empire. Serbia was supported by Germany but at the start of the war Serbia just was not involved despite having caused the war.
first it was 1nazi Germany2.america3.russia but only because russia wasnt ready for war but America and Germany were anyway if us or Germany would of invaded russia they would wipe them out even thow they werent ready
The city of Brest-Litovsk is where the treaty ending hostilities in World War I between Russia and Germany was signed.

It depends on which century you're talking about - in the 18th & 19th century Poland was partitioned between Prussia, Austria & Russia. It regained independence after the First World War but was invaded by Germany and Russia and divided between them in 1939.
It was Germany that first used flamethrowers as weapons in World War I.
Germany did not start World War I. They only declared war on Russia because Russia mobilized troops toward the German border because Russia got involved in a territorial dispute between Austria, Germany's ally, and Serbia. Germany most likely would have ignored a fight between the monstrous Austria and little, tiny Serbia, but Russia made a threatening move on Germany which the couldn't ignore. Germany invaded France, but France had already declared war on Germany after Germany went to war with Russia, France's ally. During a war between to nations with a border, one is bound to invade the other and Germany made the first move. There isn't really an excuse for Germany's invasion of Belgium, so if it is mentioned in the debate, I'd suggest BSing an answer and moving on quickly.
