Starting with the 2002 model year , the Ford Explorer four door does not have an automatic transmission fluid dipstick
Starting with the 2002 Ford Explorer ( 4 door ) the automatic transmissions do not have a dipstick
The 1998 Ford Explorer Sport ( like the four door version , Ford Explorer ) has shock absorbers front and rear
For a 1998 Ford Explorer four door : ( 21.0 U.S. gallons )
I BELIEVE the 1992 Ford Explorer four door is ( 19.3 U.S. gallons )
Starting in 2002 the Ford Explorer ( four door ) does not have an automatic transmission fluid dipstick

I assume it is the same as the 1998 Ford Explorer four door : There is a " CHECK GAGE " light ( just to the left and above the tachometer ) The light comes on if the engine coolant temperature is too HIGH , the engine oil pressure is too LOW , or the gas gauge is at or near empty
My Ford Explorer has seat belts for ( 5 ) people , starting with the 2002 Ford Explorer four door you could get a third row seat so there were seatbelts for ( 7 ) people
The heater control valve on a 1994 Ford Explorer is located near the firewall on the passenger side of the engine compartment. My 1994 Ford Explorer has a four port valve. This means that there are four hoses connected to the valve. It is very easy to view, as it sits directly on top of the engine compartment, near the a/c drier. It is easy to access. Should take less than ten minutes to remove and replace it with an OEM part. A very fast and easy fix!
I BELIEVE that ( fuse #21 ) is a 15 amp fuse for the hazard flashers on your 1998 Ford Explorer Sport ( at least it is on the 1998 Ford Explorer four door )
