No, the company that makes Theraflu, Novartis, has not gone out of business. As stated on their website on 26 December 2012 - 'Novartis is conducting maintenance and improvements at our Lincoln, Nebraska facility, which manufactures Theraflu®. As a result, we are experiencing a supply disruption at some retailers and Theraflu® may be temporarily unavailable. We are working as quickly as we can to return these products back on to store shelves. We ask that you check back periodically for updates. We apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing you, and appreciate your patience and loyalty.'
no you can not take theraflu if you have high blood pressure and diabetes.
theraflu powder does it still work after expiration date
It is probably not a good idea, since theraflu typically contains another decongestant known as "phenylephrine." Combining the two decongestants could have harmful effects on blood pressure since they both constrict blood vessels. I wouldn't take sudafed with theraflu. I would opt to go with either sudafed and Tylenol if a pain reliever therapy is preferred, or just taking theraflu. Ive found phenylephrine to be a pretty effective decongestant, especially in the theraflu formulation -3rd year Rx Student-
Theraflu
There are no known drug interactions between Theraflu and the birth control pill, patch, shot, ring, implant, or IUD.
Excedrin and Theraflu both contain acetaminophen, the pain-killing ingredient in Tylenol. Acetaminophen is very dangerous in high doses, and it's even more dangerous when alcohol is in your system. Combining Excedrin and Theraflu is therefore not a good idea.
Since Theraflu contains phenylephrine it says you should not take it with Benadryl because it contains acetaminophen and diphenhydramine and can cause a reaction.
It depends on what kind of theraflu you are buying nowadays...but you boil water and our it into a cup about 8 oz or so and stir in the package to dissolve the contents. However now you can also buy theraflu in a syrup form and you should follow the correct dosage for your age. Hope this helps :)

No. Theraflu is only a cough and cold medication like Robitussin or NyQuil. Tamiflu is an antiviral, like an antibiotic except for a virus.
