Yes. I think April and May were added to make the current twelve-month year. Some of the months were named after Roman gods, e.g. January for Janus, and March for Mars. Some were named for Roman emperors, e.g. July for Julius Caesar, and August for Caesar Augustus. Some were numbered and their names come from the Latin numbers, e.g. September from seven, October from eight, November from nine, and December from ten.
