No. His head was cut off and his body thrown overboard where legend has it he swam three times around the ship before sinking. I'm willing to bet his remains are still not far off Springer's Point on Ocracoke buried under the sand. Wrong, because the tides are so wild, and changing, it was probably swept out to sea.
Blackbeard's body most likely decayed in the warmer waters of the Carribean, but his head was hung on a flagpole of a ship. It was most likely eaten by seagulls.

The body was thrown into the ocean. His head was cut off and hung from the bowsprit of Captain Maynard's ship, The Ranger.
It was believed that Blackbeard's head was mounted on the bowsprit of the Adventure while his body was tossed into the ocean after he was killed. He was killed in 1718.
