Sound like either tune up failed to correctly adjust the tuning, or the firing order is not actually correct, or there is an underlying fault that the tun up failed to identify & rectify.
Check the PVC, check the fuel filter. Ensure that all plug wire connectors are properly seated.

I am assuming this did not occur before the tune-up and isn't a cam wear or bent pushrod problem. Check your firing order. The firing order is stamped on the intake manifold.

Under the tune up section of my Haynes Manual, it says that, "F- and L-head four-cylinder engines (1953 - 1971) have a firing order of, "1-3-4-2". Does this answer your question?
If the converter has not been changed, it may be pluged. Tune-up? Yes tune up but specificall timing. Get a timing gun and manual unless you already know the firing order.
