In detail - There are many real estate companies who sell appartments, townships & Villas but not most of them know to build! Surprised :-) Yes - they are called devlopers.
A builder is one who builds not only for themselves but also for others on contract or such other terms, but when they build for someone else that project will not be known by their name, instead it will be known by the name of the party they are building for.
ex: Mr.ABC buys 2acre of plot and decides to build an appartment. Mr.ABC is now called a devloper because he is devloping the plot to a commercial or residential appartment. He forms a company called 'ABC Devlopers' and names his project as ABC Appartments - Now Mr.ABC has money but doesnt know to build - He approaches Mr. XYZ who is a builder whoose company is XYZ builders. They come to terms and enter into contract for building the appartment as per Mr. ABC`s plan.
XYZ Builders builds the Flat or villa and gets payment from ABC Devlopers. Now XYZ is out of the frame. The selling of the appartment falls on ABC Devlopers shoulder under his banner.
