We don't have any real historical facts of the Trojan war. It is legendary (that is a traditional story, held to be true) with the mythical insertions of gods and goddesses.
As the story is a mix of oral tradition from the various versions sung by the bards over hundreds of years, plus other sources (much later poetry, pottery and allusions), whatever facts reside in the stories are undetectable. Archaeology has done little to help out.
