Differences between plant xylem and phloem and fruit xylem and phloem?

From what I remember of my A-Level Biology: A seed is the bit that turns unto another plant. Fruit is something that encases the seed, formed out to the walls of the stigma, and disperses the seed. For example, an apple is a fruit, the pips are the seed. Most plants want you to eat their fruit so that you transfer the seed to a location not close to the parent plant.
