As the name would have it, it sounds like screaming. The sound all depends on what artist you're listening to. Some artists have hardcore guitaring whereas others do not. Some artists scream throughout the whole song (Emmure, Belphegor) and some don't (KoRn, Disturbed). And to confuse you even more, there are different types of "screaming". All artists sound different in their own way.
