ISSUES OF NAXALISM
The Naxalites, Naxals or Naksalvadis are a moist communist group in India. The naxal name comes first time from naxalvadi village from west Bengal. The origin can be traced back in the 1967. Initially the movements had its center in west Bengal. In later it spread out mostly in eastern India, Chattisgarh,Bihar,Udisa,Andhra Pradesh etc.
CURRENT ISSUES
1. In late May, 2009 in Lalgarh, West Bengal the Naxalites threw out the local police and staged attacks against the ruling communist government. The region came under assault by Maoist guerrillas. The state government initiated a major operation, with central paramilitary forces and state armed police, to retake Lalgarh in early June. Maoist leader Kishenji claimed in an interview that the mass Naxalite movement in Lalgarh in 2009 was aimed at creating a "liberated zone" against "oppression of the establishment Left and its police". He stated this had given the Naxalites a major base in West Bengal for the first time since the Naxalite uprising in the mid-1970s and that "We will have an armed movement going in Calcutta by 2011".
2. In late of April,2010 in Chattisgarh theNaxalites murdered 76 CRPF soldiers.
3. In May,2010, 26 soldiers killed in accident in Narayanpur dist. Chattisgarh attack.
WAY AND MEANS TO TACKLE IT
1.Without help of state govt. nothing can be solve. So, state govt. should be helpfull.
2.Policism of state govt. should be strict and they should support to the central govt.
3.The people who are involved with the Naxalites, they should scape with this.
4.Govt. of India should take a bitter decision by attacking them all.
