no such thing... 6 or 8 individual ignition coils on top of the spark plugs wired directly to the computer...
No it does not.
It does not have it.
On a 2000 Lincoln LS : Both the 3.0 liter V6 and the 3.9 V8 engines have the Coil On Plug ( C.O.P. ) ignition system so there is no distributor / distributor cap
The distributor cap is located on the top of the distributor on a 1996 Sunfire. It is connected to the spark plugs via a wire.
That is the location of wire #1
There is a number "1" on the distributor cap. Follow that wire.
it doesnt have one
you dont have a distributor cause it is electronically distributed wich means that the computer does it
The 1997 Escort LX 1.9 does not have a Distributor cap.. the plug wires go directly from the coil assembly to the spark plugs.
A '99 Intrepid doesn't use a distributor, so no cap and rotor.
On a 2002 Lincoln Continental : No distributor cap ( the 4.6 liter Dual Over Head Cam V8 engine has the Coil On Plug ignition system with 8 individual coils ) The engine cylinder locations are numbered : firewall 1-----2-----3-----4 5-----6-----7-----8 front of vehicle > dtiver ( the firing order is 1 - 3 - 7 - 2 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 8 )
It actually doesn't have a distributor , so there is no distributor cap The 4 cylinder has a coil pack and the V6 engine is Coil On Plug ( C.O.P. )
