I just got a used 1995 SL 600 and I love it. It would help if you're mechanically inclined so you can save $$ to recondition/service it yourself.
You need to rephrase your question. It's far too ambiguous. Which year sl are you talking about? Which model sl? Would it be a Silver Arrow SL 600? And just out of curiosity, why do you want to know this information? I suggest you go to the Mercedes Benz site, I would think they would have that information. I know there are places on the web will have this information.
Price is reputed to be about $130,000. The 1993 Mercedes SL 600 retailed for $119,900 in 1993.

You have 2 choices, you can pay an astronomical cost (around 600 for the drivers side mirror alone w/o installation) or you can buy replacement glass and glue it in yourself.
The Mercedes SL is a 'full' size roadster and the SLK is a 'compact' roadster. The 'K' in SLK stands for 'Kompact' in German. The 'SL' in both stands for 'sport' and 'light'. The SLK will have a smaller 4 or 6 cylinder engine (except for some high performance AMG and Brabus models) while the SL is always a V8 or V12 engine. The cost for the high end SL models can often be twice that of an SLK. Both are two seaters and both have retractable hard tops that fold into the trunk at the touch of a switch in the cockpit.
The underhood fuses boxes can be difficult to open. A person should press the wedge in at the latch and then pull the lid open.
If you mean the reservoir for the top it should be under the spare tire in the trunk. There is a cover over it that you will see when you remove the spare
The battery is located at the rear of the vehicle; in the trunk. You must remove the tire cover, then remove the right side panel and you'll see the battery there.
