Most Alaskans "don't have an accent" by that I mean we speak like mid-western/califonians.... If you were to hear the average (white) Alaskan speak, you wouldn't know where they were from based on such. Regarding my quotations- every one in the world has a distinctive style or tone, but none original to Alaska except for the "natives" and foreigners-(mostly Russians w/ a few japs. good question though!
