I bought my adorable Poochon from a breeder in Melbourne, they are more than happy to put the pups on the plane. My little guy flew to Perth and handled the flight brilliantly!
The 'Malt' is the breed Maltese (look it up on the internet) and crossed with what is anyone else's guess, but it would be a smaller breed of dog, so this would make any pet such as a Malt X a cute dog, but could be on the small side.
It's a disgusting job and if it's not that common in your dog get your vet to do it. A person really needs to know how to express anal glands so as not to hurt the dog. I have to take my Bichon Frise X to our vet every month. Costly, but she does a better job than I can.
Hey, I would say that the dog breed that looks most like a lamb would be the Bedlington Terrier. But there are many others, like Poodles, Labradoodles, Bichon Frise, maybe even a fluffy white Border Collie (the best type of dogs, I have one!)! Hope I have helped! JJ x
You didn't go into much depth as to when this happened or if it was always this way. Some female dogs have higher hormones and if not spayed (even sometimes if they are) they will give off an odor. It is called 'vagina' (so I found out from my vet LOL) and is much like a female's vagina would react to stimuli. Sometimes it may appear puffy and also female dogs can have some discharge. I have a Bichon Frise X and I notice this too. If in doubt it's best to speak with your vet and let her have a look. It's generally quite normal.
These procedures include a complete history and physical, blood tests, chest x rays, and bone marrow biopsy.
my dog just did lick it wet off the ground and have been informed that other than mild tummy upset my small malt x will be fine :) hope yours is too !
They do what comes naturally, and also, when they smell each others behinds it's a way of identification and a quick run-down on the dogs personality traits. However, it isn't the best thing for pet owners to have to put up with. I have a female Bichon Frise and a cockapoo x terrier that is male and both of them have been fixed. I basically train him not to do this. When he starts now I quickly say in a soft, but stern voice and point a finger "NO!" He stops and that's the end of that. I haven't had to do this too many times. It takes persistence, but they get the message sooner or later. Marcy
Oh, there is always a reason. It can be jealousy over you; they start to play fight and things get out of hand; territorial issues; pecking order issues or perhaps one of the dogs (the one that starts the fight) may have health issues and should be seen by your vet to be sure. I have a sweet 4 year old Bichon Frise X (21 lbs. female) and now have a 2 year old Cockapoo X who is 15 lbs. (male.) She has mothered him and now that he is in his Junior years he thinks he's the 'cock of the walk' and will get snippy with her. Since the owner really is suppose to be the leader of the pack (that's what the dogs look for in the household) the owner should be stern and not allow this behavior to continue as long as you know the dog starting the trouble isn't ill. There are books out by Caesar Millan (Mexican ... aka 'The Dog Whisperer) who works magic with troubled pets. I just wish he was in Canada! Purchase at least one of his books and you will find lots of tips to help you over-come this. In fact, I'm going out to buy one his books tomorrow.

Dogs ears should not smell at all. Every second day I smell my dogs ears and it sounds crazy, but I own a Bichon Frise X that is prone to ear infections so I have to very aware of when one of her ears acts up. I first take my dog to the vet and then get a herbal flushing solution to flush my dogs ears out and of course have antibiotic drops. Get your vet to show you how to clean your dogs ears out. It sounds as if your dog has infection in their ears.
